Reporting to Texas State University

IMPORTANT

F-1 International Students

Upon your first entry to the US, you must report to International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) at Texas State University.

Complete: F-1 International Student Immigration Check-In

If you decide to attend another school after entering the US then you must inform International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) immediately and complete the SEVIS Record Transfer-Out Form.

Failure to complete immigration check-in and enroll in classes at Texas State University by the program start date on your Form I-20 may result in the termination of your SEVIS record and subject you to deportation proceedings.

J-1 Exchange Visitors

Upon your first entry to the US, you must report to International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) at Texas State University.

Complete: J-1 Exchange Visitor 1) Arrival Orientation and 2) Check-In

Failure to complete the J-1 Exchange Visitor Orientation and Check-in within 25 days of the listed Start Date on the Form DS-2019 will result in automatic cancellation of the Exchange Visitor's immigration record.
