Filing Taxes

The International Office advisers are not trained in the complexities of the United States (U.S.) Tax Regulations. However, we have provided resources for your questions concerning taxes use the links below and attend the workshops.


The Office of Payroll & Tax Compliance will host workshops to train international students on how to use the Glacier Tax Prep software to file taxes correctly.  

Nonresident aliens temporarily present in the U.S. as students, trainees, scholars, teachers, researchers, exchange visitors, and cultural exchange visitors are subject to special rules with respect to the taxation of their US annual income.

Join Sally Moss, Debbie Jones and Carmelita Mendoza for one of the tax workshops.

Bring: Your passport, Visa, I-94, I-20/ DS-2019, and any of the following tax forms that you received: IRS Form W-2, 1042-S and/or 1099-MISC.

The Tax Due Date for 2017 is Monday April 18th.
