Filing Taxes

The International Office advisors are not trained in the complexities of the United States (U.S.) Tax Regulations. However, we have provided resources for your questions concerning taxes use the links below and attend the workshops.

The Payroll & Tax Compliance Office will host workshops to train international students on how to use the Glacier Tax Prep software to file taxes correctly.  

Nonresident aliens temporarily present in the U.S. as students, trainees, scholars, teachers, researchers, exchange visitors, and cultural exchange visitors are subject to special rules with respect to the taxation of their US annual income.

Join the Payroll and Tax Compliance Office for one of the tax workshops.

Bring: Your passport, Visa, I-94, I-20/ DS-2019, and any of the following tax forms that you received: IRS Form W-2, 1042-S and/or 1099-MISC.

The Tax Filing Deadline for 2018 is Monday April 16th.
